The 22-year-old was in the running for last season, but producers decided to hold him back for the new winter series in January.

‘Going out there gave me a taste for it. I got to do a trial, which was amazing. I think if I got to go on the show, I would surprise people. I’m more of a tomboy than people think. Just because you look a certain way, doesn’t mean you can’t eat a spider!’

Brendan Cole

Former Strictly Come Dancing star cut all ties with the BBC after 14 years on the show and is now looking for a new challenge. And after getting the boot from X Factor: Celebrity, the professional will have plenty of time spare to enter the jungle.

Nadine Coyle

According to reports the former Girls Aloud member is the latest to be on IAC’s Radar.  A source told the Sun, ‘Nadine is a big name and ITV was keen to get her.’

‘Her link to Cheryl makes her an even more exciting prospect.’

‘And I’m a Celeb could well be the start of something big again for her.’

Nadine may be entering the jungle for a little soul searching after splitting with long term boyfriend of 11 years, footballer Jason bell.

Roman Kemp

‘Roman is a fun, loquacious young star and super-well connected. He must have countless showbiz tales about his pals. ‘If he chose to reminisce about George, that could be quite emotional.’

Myles Stephenson

Since splitting form girlfriend Gabby Allen, the X-factor star is on the search for new horizons.

An insider told the Sun, ‘Myles is a free agent now and so he can’t wait to go to Australia and get away.’

“It’s a physical and mental challenge and he’s really looking forward to testing himself.’

James Heskall

Rugby star James Heskall would be rather easy on the eyes in the jungle shower and provide some much-needed muscle around the camp.

The hunky sportsman recently announced his plans to transition into a MMA fighter by 2020.

A source told the Sun, ‘They has made him a decent offer and are hopeful he will sign up.’

Jennifer Metcalfe

The Hollyoaks bombshell has emerged to the IAC speculations after rumours emerged that her soap character ‘Mercedes McQueen’ may be killed off the show, leaving plenty of spare time to enter the jungle.

Jennifer is no stranger to a TV challenge after competing in Winter ITV show, Dancing on Ice & lasting an impressive seven weeks.

Duncan James

The former Blue singer/ actor has reportedly signed a deal with IAC. Jungle bosses are speculated to have offered him a handsome wage to tackle his fear on snakes.

‘Producers think he could be telly gold because he will have to face his phobia’s head on’. A source stated.

‘The best campmates are the ones who have overcome their fears – and Duncan has told them he is game for anything.’

Ian Wright

The former Arsenal striker and current BBC Football Pundit is reportedly in advanced talks with I’m a Celeb bosses to enter the jungle this year and has potentially been offered a six-figure salary to take part.

An insider to the Sun, ‘Producers love that he’s got a TV following and online fans with his own YouTube Channel, as they are trying to snap up a younger audience.’

‘He’s a cheeky chappy, and no doubt the public will fall in love with him like they did Toff.’

Lucy Fallon

Well known for her role as Bethany Platt in Coronation Street, Fallon has had a roller-coaster of an acting career over the past couple of years, the young actress is keen to open up other areas in TV.

‘I think I’d be good in the jungle. I like to challenge myself and that’s the most challenging show you can do.’ She admitted back in 2018.

Georgia Steele

Widely known to grate on people the wrong way, the former Love Island star could be a good contestant Down Under whilst causing a ripple in the camp – something we all sorely missed in last year’s series.

Back in 2018 the islander told The Express, ‘I would love an opportunity like that as I think it would be amazing.’

‘It would be very scary though. Of course, anything is possible.’

‘Dumped’ Love Islander Yewande Biala says Arabella is a 'Liar'

‘Dumped’ Love Islander Yewande Biala says Arabella is a 'Liar'

Love Island sweetheart Yewande Biala was dumped from the villa last night after conflicted Danny did the dirty on the scientist and dropped her to couple up with newbie model Arabella Chi.

But since exiting the Majorcan villa, Yewande has not been shy about her feelings towards the remaining people in the villa.

After coupling up with 21-year-old model Danny, Yewande believed they had a ‘connection’ and after Danny expressed to her that ‘his head would not be turned’, Yewande felt like there was nothing to worry about.

And then enters Arabella.

After being booted off the show in last night’s re-coupling, Yewande has made her opinions quite clear on the 28-year-old newcomer.

‘A bombshell coming in, it’s very hard and it’s difficult to know their intention.’

‘I hate it when a bombshell comes in saying, “I want to get to know everyone” because that is a lie.’

‘You know who you’re going for. She knew she wanted Danny. I feel like if he does get to know her, it’s not going to work.’

‘There are so many factors – they’re so different, and the age gap. You have to be realistic. He’s just starting his life – he’s only 21. They are in two different phases of their lives. In the villa, it’s very easy to forget.’

Many Love Islanders were left in tears as they watched their friend make a shock exit out of the villa.

The 23-year-old scientist believes she has made friends for life on the reality TV show and each of them have made her time in the villa worthwhile.

‘I didn’t know I would meet such amazing people and I didn’t realise I would fall in love with such amazing people and I have, which is amazing.’

Yewande will appear on Love Island Aftersun June 30that 10pm.

Is the Lie detector back?

Due to the duty of care for the Love Islanders, the lie detector will be scrapped for the season 5 return. ITV2’s Angela Rain said ‘We are going to do some tweaks. The Lie detector is one episode and one element of the 57 episodes. It’s not even a big deal in the format of the show. We are often reacting to the narrative of the villa, so we try and be entirely flexible about that.’
