Strictly’s Johannes Radebe Made History on Last Night’s Results Show

Last night’s Strictly Come Dancing, Pro dancer Johannes Radebe SLAYED the dance floor in the Glam pro dance that opened this week’s results show.

Partnered with ‘Coronation Streets’, Catherine Tyldesley, the South African Professional Dancer made Strictly history by being the first make dancer to come out and dance in heels.

Viewers were left in awe as the 32-year-old strutted in a pair of booty heels, accompanied by two fabulous backing dancers in the same attire; the trio stole the spotlight in the red-carpet themed routine.

The Strictly judges supported the movement by appearing in the dance holding fans reading words such as ‘Pose’, ‘Extra’, ‘Shade’ and ‘Slay’ written across them.

Many of Johannes on screen co-dancers took to social to congratulate the pro dancer on his incredible performance. Fellow pro dancer took to twitter to post, ‘Errrrrrrm that @bbcstrictly pro number was EVERYTHING. @jojo_radebe I bloody love you that was BRILLIANT.’

Current partner Catherine also tweeted to express her Pride, “Best pro dance EVER!!!! @bbcstrictly. How AMAZING is @jojo_radebe?!?! That's my boy!!!!! Sooooo proud!!!" Dr Ranj remarked: YAAAAAASSSS @jojo_radebe YAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSS!! #strictly. LOVE THIS BOY. THIS. IS. EVERYTHING." Chizzy Akudolu stated: "That's it. That's the level I will now strive to be at. Johannes!! I may break a hip getting there but getting to do a high kick whilst wearing heels, it'll be worth it!!"

Despite Johannes breaking the internet in an inspirational way, it seems not everyone was a fan of the controversial routine. Former Pro dancer and winner of last year’s Dancing on Ice, James Jordan informed his followers that it wasn’t his bag. "For all of you saying how amazing that pro dance was I'm sorry, but I have to disagree Johannes was bloody amazing but apart from that there was just a lot of walking around and posing... that's a fact. Just not my bag, I want to see Ballroom and Latin dancing that's all."

Let us know your thoughts on the sassy pro dance. Yay or Nay?
