The BBC dance show, Strictly Come Dancing is facing backlash from angry viewers claiming a ‘Fix’ in the show after the judge’s decision saw much loved Coronation Street star take the boot in last night’s dance off; leaving BBC sports presenter Mike Bushell still in the competition.

Many disgruntled strictly fans are threatening to boycott the show after claims that the judges were bias towards the BBC Breakfast star over the actress who made her career on ITV. The Judges votes were split down the middle but Shirley Ballas’ casting vote saw Mike & Katya safe and into next week’s show. Despite constantly referring to Bushell’s dancing as ‘comical’.

‘Well both couples really stepped it up a notch and this always the most difficult decision for me.’

‘But based on good focus, difficult content, with some really beautiful footwork in there with stronger technical skills for me, cleaner and polished. I’m going to save Mike & Katya.’

Outraged Strictly viewers took to Twitter to express their frustration with dance off results.

One viewer tweeted: "Typical #Strictly2019 #Strictly keep the BBC person whose awful & get rid of the ITV person whose excellent #scd bias"

"That's ball it's a fix all because Mike works for the BBC that's the only reason he won," added another.

A third agreed: "Not the biggest strictly observer but to save Mike who is a full time BBC employee over a girl Catherine who made her name on an ITV show, did they get told who to save"

"So wrong #Strictly #Strictly2019 voting Catherine off the show Mike should have gone. @BBC bias again," said a fourth.

In tears, Catherine turned to her partner Johannes whilst wiping her eyes, ‘Don’t worry it’s waterproof.’

‘I never thought I’d say this, I’m going to keep it up because I fell in love with it! I’ve loved every second, this man has changed my life.’

First year for the pro dancer to receive a celeb partner, the South African proudly said, Okay Tess, the beautiful thing is that I need to thank Strictly Come Dancing for the opportunity… Thank you.’

‘Most of all, I want to say thank you to this woman. She has been a light for me. Thank you for accepting me for who I am and showing me joy every day. Thank you.’
