Shakira & J LO just Slayed 2020's Super Bowl Half-Time Show!
The Super-Bowl Half-Time Show is has had its fair share of famous performances over the years and lately has come under scrutiny after 2019’s booking of Maroon 5 but 2020 has just given us the most explosive & sexiest show ever! (and that is no exaggeration!)
50-year-old Jenifer Lopez & 43-year-old Shakira (I know I can’t believe that either!) just teamed up at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florid; to create the ultimate display of women power in Latin American history! With an electric performance filled with high energy dancing, costumes & special effects; this was fiery & feisty homage to the cultural celebration of diversity all across America.
“I think the Super Bowl is a very American event, as American as it can get,” Shakira said in a press conference last week. “It’s also going to be a reminder of the heritage of this country, which is one of diversity and that’s what we will be celebrating Sunday.”
The show was launched with Columbian goddess, Shakira, sporting a skimpy red number and still emanating her fiery character with saucy renditions of She-wolf/ Hips don’t Lie & Whenever, wherever; reminding us of her musical talents as she slayed it on both electric guitar and the drums.

Then in a flash appeared ‘Jenny from the Block’ herself, sparkling in a tiny figure-complimenting, sequin dress and reminded us of her infamous Las Vegas style performances.
In a bid to pass the torch on to future generations of women, Lopez brought her daughter Emme on stage for Let’s Get Loud. She quickly swung back to Hustlers mode, returning in a fur cape with an American flag on the outside and Puerto Rican flag on the inside celebrating her dual identities, as Emme sang a couple of lines from Springsteen’s Born In The USA (Shakira smashed the hell out of a drum kit for this).

It’s surprising that flames didn’t start to emerge on the stage as this duo came together and created the hottest burst of asthma-inducing energy you’ll ever see!
It was the American triumph both women had sought to accomplish and certainly made both their current and historical cultural backgrounds proud!
This year's Super Bowl is definitely going to be an impossible show to outshine!
