Love Island Date Confirmed!
After twiddling our thumbs for 12 months, our love island fix is finally arriving!
Caroline Flack has delighted us all with a series of teaser trailers on the official ITV2 Twitter page.
She confirmed that after much controversy surrounding the hit reality TV show, that it will definitely air on June 3rd.
Whilst there is not yet a full trailer, giving us the full insight, we have been gifted with a selection of teasers showcasing famous phrases and iconic moments from previous seasons.
On a serious note, this year’s contestants will be getting a pay rise to £250 a week to compensate for ‘Risks’.
After the tragic passing of ex-contestants, Mike Thalassistis and Sophie Grandon, producers are increasing the salary from the original £200 a week for ‘Taking time to be on the show’. If certain contestants are lucky enough to last the full 8 weeks, that’s a whopping £2,000 payday! Not to mention the £50,000 cash prize for the winning couple.

This doesn’t include the potential wonga that can be made off the back of the show from brand ambassading and agency work.
Jonny Mitchell, a previous love islander from the 2017 show, told the sun, ‘It’s not out of the realms of possibility to make over a million if there’s a long-term strategy involved.’
So get it in your diaries guys! The doors to the villa will be opening in just under two weeks!
