During the early hours of yesterday morning, the Duchess of Sussex gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Weighing 7lbs 3oz, the new royal baby, who is now 7th in line to the throne, was born in Portland Hospital; despite the royal couple wanting a home birth.
Prince Harry, beaming with the new prospect fatherhood, was eager to announce the birth of his first child and insisted to broadcast the news himself. ‘I’m very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby boy this morning, a very healthy baby boy.’
He continued, grinning from ear to ear, ‘As every father and parent will say, you know, your baby is absolutely amazing, but this little thing is absolutely to die for, so I am over the moon.’
We have been informed by the Duke of Sussex that we are to expect a public appearance tomorrow from Mother and Baby.
A name hasn’t been decided as of yet but, Royal protocol states that the name must first be accepted by the Queen before publicly announcing.
