Full Line Up of Strictly CONFIRMED

After rumours circled the internet as to who will be applying the fake tan and putting on their dancing shoes, this week rumours have been confirmed and surprise celebs have joined the line-up for 2019.





Alex Scott



 After winning 2018’s Sports Relief, Strictly Come Dancing, the former Arsenal player is keen to lift the Glitterball trophy once again. 


Jamie Laing



The first ever reality TV star to step foot on the Strictly dance floor, the heir to the McVities fortune is excited to be a part of the Strictly team.

‘I am beyond thrilled to be asked on Strictly, the only person potentially more thrilled is my mother. I have finally become the son she hoped for!’


Will Bayley



The gold-medal-winning Paralympian has been confirmed for this year’s all-star line-up. The Table-Tennis Champion was born with Arthrogryposis, a rare disorder that affects joints on all his limps.

He said he wants to ‘inspire people with a disability – that would mean a lot to me. I want to prove to people I can do this.’


Michelle Visage



The 50-yea-old RuPaul’s Drag Race Star has also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in the past. Bringing the flare & flamboyance from the hit US show. Visage is a Judge herself on the show so it will be interesting to see how she takes on the Strictly judges critics.


Viscountess Emma Waymouth



Adding a regal touch to this year’s line-up. The 33-year-old Chef & Model is looking forward to the glamour of the show. ‘I absolutely love watching strictly every weekend and I can’t believe that I’m getting the chance to be on this series.’ She said, ‘I know it will be such an amazing experience from start to finish. I can’t wait for the dancing and the fabulous outfits!’


Aneka Rice



 As Strictly’s oldest contestant this year, the 60-year-old TV Broadcaster was announced on Steve Wrights BBC Radio 2 show.

 ‘I have never danced in front of one member of my family or anyone who know me!’

‘I haven’t danced since I was seven, since I was sacked from ballet because I look like a big pudding, a rice pudding, that was my nickname.’


James Cracknell



The Olympic rower and gold medallist is excited for a change of course.

‘Having spent so many years mucking around in a rowing boat with big men in tight lycra, it’s time I learned a new skill.’


Dev Griffin



It’s time to step away from the decks and head to the dancefloor for the BBC Radio 1 DJ. After getting through to the Celebrity Master Chef finals, Dev is ready to keep a running theme.


Karim Zeroual



The Children’s television presenter is ecstatic about joining this year’s celebrity line-up.

The 25-year-old has previous history in showbiz after performing in the Lion King & Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Let’s see if he can pull off his showmanship in his dance moves too.


Catherine Tyldsley  



Speaking on This Morning, the former Corrie star explained how she is terrified to step onto the Strictly dancefloor, due to her lack of dancing skills.

Safron Barker



The 19-year-old Vlogger is excited to experience the ‘Once-in-a-lifetime opportunity’ of Strictly Come Dancing. Her whopping 4 million social media followers will surely be backing her the whole way!


David James



The former England Goalkeeper is over the moon to be following in the footsteps of pervious sports stars that have taken part in the show in the past.


‘I’m really excited to be on Strictly this year. Not just competing against this year’s stars but being compared to previous sports stars from previous strictly seasons. I have some big shoes to fill, #LetsGetLive.’



Emma Barton



The 42-year-old Eastenders actress was one of the first stars to announced for this year’s Strictly line-up. She said she is ready for a change of character.


‘I’m whipping off Honey’s mini-mart tabard and diving right into all the glitter and sparkle.’


Chris Ramsey



The Geordie comedian and comedy show panellist, is looking forward to ‘the possibility of making a fool of myself in front of millions of people.’


Mike Bushnell



The BBC sports presenter ‘thought they’d got the wrong person’ when he got the call from Strictly producers. The 53-year-old is excited to be flying the flag for ‘all the dad dancers.’
