First Trailer has Dropped for New Scooby-Doo Movie

Everyone’s favourite meddling kids and dumb dog are back for another adventure, only this time, they look a little different!

The New animated feature length movie, SCOOB! Will be a revamped version of the Mystery gang and the first flick since Scooby - Doo 2: Monsters unleashed back in 2004!

Despite the movie now travelling in the direction of 3 dimensional animation, Frank Welker will reprise his role as Scooby-Doo (a role he's voiced since 2002), with Zac Efron voicing Fred Jones, Will Forte as Shaggy, Gina Rodriguez as Velma, Amanda Seyfried as Daphne and Jason Isaacs as Dick Dastardly.

Fans have also noticed that the character of Fred seems to have ditched the iconic ascot for a white baseball jacket. Not sure How we feel about that but I suppose the sixties look is a little dated now.

Hopefully we are going to hear the legendary theme song!

The other Hanna-Barbera characters to appear include Tracy Morgan as Captain Caveman, Ken Jeong as Dynomutt, Dog Wonder, Kiersey Clemons as Dee Dee Sykes and Mark Wahlberg as Blue Falcon.

There will also be flashbacks to the Mystery Inc gang's childhood years, with Young Sheldon's Iain Armitage playing Shaggy, Pierce Gagnon as Fred, Ariana Greenblatt as Velma and Mckenna Grace as Daphne.

SCOOB! was originally set for release on September 21, 2018 before being pushed back in 2017 to its current release date of May 15, 2020.
