Just two weeks after the end of the show, Love Island’s Chris Taylor and Harley Brash have been confirmed as the first couple to break-up outside of the Majorcan Villa. The 28-year-old Business Developer and 21-year-old Estate Agent, hooked up after snogging on the show and decided to carry on with the relationship outside the show to see where things went.

Sadly, although admitting to be ‘exclusive’ on Love Island spin-off show, Aftersun, the pair decided to call it quits when realising they were just good friends.

As the former islanders both arrived towards the end of the show, the couple wasn’t given much time to work as a relationship before being booted off and thrown into te real world.

A source close to the pair, explained to The Sun Online, ‘Harley and Chris broke up a couple of days ago, it was really amicable and they both agreed they’ll stay friends.’

‘Sadly, there’s no romance there – it was just a holiday fling.’

The couple have not however commented on the statement and have remained tight lipped about the split over fears that they could miss out on TV opportunities, in particular, the ITV2 reboot of Supermarket Sweep, presented by Rylan Clarke-Neal. The duo has reportedly already filmed with the new show this week despite secretly no longer being an item.

The source also added, ‘Nobody wants to be the first couple to split up – it’s embarrassing and there’s so much pressure to stay together to make money.’

‘It’s all over but they don’t really want fans to know that – they’d someone else split up first.’

At the Love Island Reunion, the pair were also spotted sitting apart from one another during the show.

But it looks like someone is still getting their graft on after Chris was spotted cosying up to Casa Amor beauty, Maria Wild whilst leaving a very furious Harley sat on the street during the Love Island Wrap party.
