Chris Hughes Breaks Down in Tears on This Morning Sofa

Love Island Star, Chris Hughes sobbed in front of Phil & Holly on ITV show, This Morning when he talked about his girlfriend Jesy Nelson’s Mental Illness.

The reality tv personality appeared on the This Morning to discuss Movemeber to raise awareness for Testicular Cancer after his brother was diagnosed earlier this year.

But when Phil & Holly moved onto the subject of his Little Mix Girlfriends Documentary Odd One Out, he was reduced to tears.

Jesy Nelson released the BBC Three documentary a number of months ago to expose the online abuse she has faced whilst performing in X Factor Girl band, Little Mix. Explaining that the graphic trolling caused Jesy to attempt to take her own life and has made a lifelong impression on her own body image views.

Choking up, Hughes told the duo that Jesy is a ‘strong girl’.

"I get so emotional when I talk about her," Chris continued.

When Holly went on to talk about the effect Jesy's show has had, he added: "My teachers have shown it in their schools already.

"The beauty of that documentary is that it doesn't just help people going through that struggle online, it helps the older generation, the parents, to understand social media."

Chris recently revealed that he was hoping to have children with Jesy, after the pair recently moved in together.
