Celebs are Starting to Arrive Down Under as They Prepare for, I’m a Celeb

It’s getting closer by the day; the nation’s favourite jungle reality TV show is right around the corner and so this year’s celebs are making their way down under to begin their jungle journey.

Jacqueline Jossa and James Haskell were spotted traipsing through the arrival lounge in Australia today making them the fourth and fifth I’m a Celeb contestant to touch down ready for the show along with Ian Wright, Andrew Maxwell & Caitlyn Jenner.

Despite claiming to ‘not know how the show works’, it has been revealed that reality star, Caitlyn Jenner made a stint on the US version of I’m a Celebrity, Get me Out of Here, in 2003 as Bruce before transitioning into a woman at the age of 65 in 2015.

Jenner, 70, competed alongside American supermodel Tyson Beckford, Joan Rivers' daughter Melissa Rivers and Jennifer Lopez's ex-husband Cris Judd 16 years ago.

She made it through to the last week of the USA series, but was beaten to a spot in the final three by comedian John Melendez.

Cris Judd went on to be crowned King of the Jungle and nabbed $200,000 for his chosen charity, the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

As the show draws closer, high alerts have been allocated around the surrounding area due to natural caused bush fires spreading in the area where the I’m a Celeb camp is situated.

Over the weekend, at least three people have lost their lives as more than 100 blazes crippled New South Wales and Queensland.

The closest fires to the set so far have been 10 kilometres away, in Lamington National Park.

A spokesperson for ITV told the publication: "We are in constant contact with the NSW fire brigade and are closely monitoring the situation.

"We currently have no cause for concern. The health and safety of all our production crew and celebrities are of the utmost importance."

As we reach the 19th series of I’m A Celeb, fans are thrilled to see Ant McPartlin return to the ITV Reality Show alongside onscreen partner and lifelong friend, Declan Donnelly after his year long hiatus whilst he recovered from his substance addition in rehab.

The show begins on ITV on Sunday November 17 and there will be ten contestants in total to kick off the show.
