Casting Prince Eric has been Announced and you May Already Recognise Him
Speculations have been circulating for the confirmed casting of Prince Eric for the new live action remake of the Disney's The Little Mermaid.
After rumours surrounding Harry styles stepping into the role, the internet broke, thinking that the former One Direction & Dunkirk star would be playing our dreamy dark-haired prince.
But after Styles squashed any assumptions of the casting and confirming it was only hearsay, our hopes were deflated.
Well, it looks like we’ve been looking at our confirmed all this time without realising!
British rising star Jonah Hauer-King has been established as our new Disney Prince and we have been watching him on our screens more rectly that you think! Staring in the new popular BBC drama, World on Fire, alongside Oscar-winner Helen hunt and Sean Bean.
The 24-year-old, previously played Laurie in 2017's Little Women BBC mini-series.
Earlier this year, Disney released the that Halle Berry would be playing the role of Ariel, Scuttle the seagull will be played by Awkwafina, who many would know for her roles in Crazy Rich Asians and Ocean's Eight, while Melissa McCarthy will transform into sea witch Ursula and Javier Bardem as King Triton.
Other stars lined-up for the highly-anticipated remake include Room's Jacob Tremblay as the voice of Flounder and Hamilton star Daveed Diggs as Sebastian the crab.
